The people in a Society have become so used to being told what to do and not to do and how to do it that they have lost the ability to rely on their own common sense and gut feelings. Yes, stay in the know and, if there's somewhere you can make a positive contribution, do so. Otherwise, LET IT GO--worrying only causes anxiety and fear and makes you less able to think or act clearly.

I like it, Linda, how you have interspersed photos of light and hope as a counterbalance to the mood of your article.

Thank you for putting into words what so many are thinking and feeling. As Talk-therapy reveals, often just expressing those thoughts and feelings helps to loosen and release their hold on us. This "Information-misinformation Age" we are in -- constantly bombarded with too much stimuli to process -- is overwhelming for so many of us. Thanks again for expressing this in words and suggesting an alternative to the fear and anxiety.

I thank God for you and each and every thinking person who dares to question. I confess I am biased, and becoming more so with each passing day. I know the way forward is to say “father forgive them” but even I STRUGGLE WITH THIS. AND I HAVE BEEN LESS HARMED THAN MANY DURING THESE PAST FEW YEARS. THANK you for your work!
